January Deliveries!!

We decided to make a couple deliveries this month.  With the help of Ellen and our pre-teen quilt makers, Deborah and Emma (and their siblings) we delivered 18 quilts to the AAMC Pediatrics and NICU units.  Next stop was the YWCA to drop off 9 quilts for the Arden Safe House for kids who are victims of domestic violence.  "Many of the women and children arrive in the middle of the night with just the clothes on their backs. They need many items to make them feel clean, secure and at home." Thanks to all who made these beautiful quilts so kids could feel comfort in their time of need!  You all are awesome!!!

We will be working on another project at our next workshop, Jan 19th @ BACC from 9:30am - 1pm. I will be demonstrating how to make rolled pillowcases. We will be delivering these to kids in need. Kits will be available at the workshop or you can bring your own fabric. (3/4 yard focus fabric, 1/3 yard contrasting fabric, 1/8 yard accent trim fabric).  Here are the instructions if you can't make it to the workshop but would like to make a pillowcase on your own. 1. Thank you so much for the beautiful quilts you donated to the kids here at AAMC! There is a 5-year-old boy here who is absolutely loving his new superhero quilt!!!
