September Workshop

Melinda and Jules turned in finished pillowcases and Jules worked on completing quilts. Tamie put together some quilts kits from fabric donated by Sue Barnett. Rebecca made and quilted 3 quilts and Caelyn (my granddaughter) made her first quilted tote bag! Even though this was Tamie's last Saturday with us, we didn't say "good-bye" but "see you in Florida"! We all hope to be down to visit her soon!

We are having our next workshop this Saturday, October 15th at BACC from 10:30 - 1:30 pm in room 235. Please bring your sewing machine, sewing supplies and lunch. Kits for tote bags, pillowcases and quilts will be available.
I would like to focus on making quilted tote bags and pillowcases to give to the Johns Hopkins Children's Hospital in Baltimore in December. We have about 7 bags right now and would like to give about 25 if we could. We hope you can join us!!!!
Thank you to all who have been donating coloring books and crayons for the bags!!! I know they will be a blessing to the kids this Christmas!!
